Un album dans lequel on retrouve avec bonheur l'adorable chaton humanisé créé par Rob Scotton, qui subit ici sans broncher les railleries de Grouff jusqu'à ce que son ami Harry y mette un terme en révélant le manque de courage du vantard. Le court texte, simple et abondamment dialogué, est accompagné de peintures de synthèse qui donnent vie, dans une esthétique voisinant le cinéma d'animation, à des matous stylisés et très expressifs arborant des corps rectangulaires, des membres fluets et des mimiques à saveur caricaturales qui ajoutent au comique de situation. Un ouvrage un peu plat qui n'est pas à la hauteur des titres réalisés par Scotton lui-même et dont le charme réside principalement dans le graphisme. |
